Jason John

About The Founder

Jason specializes in teaching individuals how to explore the hidden job market and uncover opportunities to land a first job or advance their career.

Jason's professional experience spans a wide variety of industries, including advertising, education, retail, distribution, telecommunications, IT solution sales, social media, investing, health and wellness, and higher education. He has worked for organizations such as Bell, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Toronto Metropolitan University and most recently, the University of Toronto.

Although Jason was born in Canada and completed his primary schooling there, his family moved to India in 1990, where he completed his higher education and worked there for 18 months. Jason then decided to move back to Canada in 2003. Since he arrived in Canada many years ago, Jason has been passionate about supporting newcomers. Whether through his professional work, volunteering in the community, or supporting religious institutions and not-for-profits that help newcomers and students, he has taken an active interest in listening to their stories.

Jason has had the privilege of conducting career development workshops, speaking at various events on these topics and counselling hundreds of individuals through 1:1 sessions over the last 20+ years. Jason has helped support many people in igniting a creative spark in their career development journey.
